$100 entry fee. All entry fee money, except for the rental cost of the facility, will be given as prize money. After pool play is completed, all teams will advance to a single elimination tournament.

Coaches and assistants needed for indoor and sand youth recreational
leagues, adult teams, and summer camps. Time commitments range from a few
hours for one day to a few (2-3) hours a week for several months. Coaches
make up to $20 per hour and assistant start at $8 an hour. Please submit

Velocity Sports Performance in Burnsville is hosting a Vertical Jump Clinic, specifically designed to increase an athlete’s balance, explosion, and vertical jump. This clinic would be excellent training for your volleyball teams and to prepare them for off-season training. The clinic starts Monday, October 6 and ends on Thursday, October 9. Please forward this email to your athletes and their parents.

Velocity Sports Performance is conducting a special one-week Vertical Jump Clinic geared toward basketball, volleyball, and soccer goalie athletes to increase their explosive power and add inches to their vertical jump. Athletes will be coached on their jumping technique using our Dartfish film technology. Athletes will be able to review a video analysis of their pre and post jumping technique and measurements.

 Athletes: Ages 12-18 who play basketball, volleyball and soccer

 When:   7:15 – 8:30 pm, October 6 – 9, 2008

 Tuition: $75 for the five-hour clinic

VOLLEYBALL CLUB COACHING OPPORTUNITIESDear Prospective Coach,

The Centennial Volleyball Club (CVC) is a girl’s junior Olympic volleyball club located in the Lino Lakes/Blaine area. We service girls ages 12 and up, living in the surrounding northern metro areas. Our goal is improve the level of Volleyball in the North metro. We know that girls who play competitive club volleyball are better players and that will make better teams in our local High Schools and Colleges.

We recently have expanded our program to include Select level teams as well as our Club level teams. Our Club teams play a shorter season December thru March and usually consist of players that play multiple sports, or girls that are looking to play less competitive play, but still enjoy the game. Our Select teams are more competitive and generally are made up of players who are looking to play varsity level ball in their schools, and have a strong commitment to the game of Volleyball. Our Select teams will travel to 2-3 outside Tournaments, ending with a National tournament. Last season we sent 3 Select teams to the Prep Volley Classic in Wisconsin Dells.
Team tryouts are held in November. Practices begin December.

CVC is growing and knows that in order to continue to bring high caliber teams; we have to provide quality coaches. We are looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable coaches who ‘Love’ the game of Volleyball and would like to share their passion and knowledge. We have many opportunities as Head or Assistant level coaches. We are flexible and will work around the coaches schedules.

CVC offers competitive compensation and covers costs associated with travel.
Club Coaches- $200-$300/month- December-March
Select Coaches- $350-$600/month- December-June
